HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | Following a strong 2026 campaign, Mia Brown earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Second Team All-Region honors, recognizing her as one of the top designated players in the South Region.

A native of Fayetteville, Brown was a key contributor in the Chargers' lineup throughout the season, emerging as one of the Gulf South Conference's top offensive threats. She led the Chargers with a .422 batting average while recording 57 hits, 17 doubles, three home runs, and 42 RBIs across 55 appearances. Brown also posted a .630 slugging percentage and a .538 on-base percentage.

Brown consistently delivered at the plate throughout the year, helping power the Chargers' offense with 25 runs scored and 34 walks while striking out just nine times in 135 at-bats.

Brown and the Chargers return to action in the NCAA South Region 2 Tournament later today at 12 p.m. on Friday, May 15, facing No. 3 seed University of West Alabama in Pensacola.
