HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer team returns to Charger Park on Wednesday evening as the Chargers host Trevecca in their Gulf South Conference home opener.

Admission to all regular season events at Charger Park is free again this season, courtesy of Alabama Credit Union. 

UAH enters the matchup unbeaten in its last four meetings with Trevecca, posting a 3-0-1 record during that stretch. The Chargers hold a 4-1-1 advantage in the all-time series against the Trojans.

The Chargers are coming off a 1-0 road victory over West Alabama in their GSC opener, with Prescott Hull scoring the game-winning goal with 43 seconds remaining. Hull leads UAH with two goals this season and was named the GSC Defender of the Week on Tuesday.

Carley White has also been a consistent threat for the UAH attack, entering Wednesday ranked fifth in the GSC with 15 shots.

Defensively, the Chargers have been among the conference's best. Goalkeeper CeCe Szopa leads the GSC with a 0.57 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage while tying for the conference lead with two individual shutouts.

UAH leads the GSC with three team clean sheets and has surrendered just three goals this season, the second-fewest in the conference. The Chargers have also recorded 33 saves, the second-highest total in the GSC.
