The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's soccer team returns to Charger Park on Wednesday, Sept. 23, hosting Union at 7:30 p.m.

Admission to all regular season events at Charger Park is free again this season, courtesy of Alabama Credit Union.

UAH enters Wednesday's contest at 5-0-1 overall and 2-0-1 in Gulf South Conference play. The Chargers are also ranked No. 15 in the nation in the latest NCAA Division II Men's Rankings, as announced by United Soccer Coaches on Tuesday.

The Chargers have opened the season unbeaten through their first six matches, with four of their five victories being on the road. UAH most recently played to a 1-1 draw with Trevecca at Charger Park on Wednesday, before picking up a 1-0 road victory over Delta State on Saturday.

Senior forward Oli Orzechowski continues to lead the Chargers' attack with four goals and eight points through six matches. He also leads UAH with 23 shots and 13 shots on goal. The Chargers have outscored their opponents 14-3 this season, with nine different players finding the back of the net. Junior Stellios Starakis became the ninth different goal scorer Saturday, netting the game-winning goal in the victory over Delta State.

Defensively, junior goalkeeper Sonny Wright has started all six matches for the Chargers, posting a 0.52 goals-against average and .833 save percentage with 15 saves. Wright has also recorded five wins and two shutouts while helping UAH limit opponents to three goals through six matches.

Wednesday's matchup will mark the 18th meeting between UAH and Union, with the Chargers and Bulldogs playing to a 1-1 draw in the most recent meeting on Oct. 10, 2025, in Jackson, Tennessee.
