HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The UAH women's soccer will look to end its four-game slide as it hosts Montevallo on Wednesday afternoon at Charger Field. The match featuring the 1-4 Lady Chargers and the 1-3 Falcons is scheduled for 2 p.m.
Three of UAH's losses during the string of setbacks have been by one goal.
Tied for the team lead in goals,
Khadijah Jannah and
Luting Sun have both recorded a pair of scores on the season. Jannah has a team-high 15 shots, and 11 of those have reached the target.
Iris Gunnarsdotir has seen all of the action in goal as she has recorded 22 stops on the year.
Wednesday's guests have the upper-hand in the all-time series having registered an 8-4-1 mark against the Blue and White, including a 4-0 victory the last game played between the programs in 2009.
With three goals, Christine Prince leads the Montevallo offense with six points while Taylor Kerr is right on her heels with five points. Kerr has one goal on the season to go along with three assists.
The Falcons have used all three of the goalkeepers they have on their roster this season with Alyssa Maxwell and Kaitlin Thomas nearly splitting the majority of the minutes with 173 and 176, respectively. Both have allowed three goals on the year while Maxwell has recorded six saves and Thomas has totaled five stops.
