Box Score DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Playing on the road for the first time in the 2011 season, the UAH men's soccer team fell by a 6-2 score to North Georgia on Tuesday afternoon. The loss drops the Chargers to 4-3 while the Saints improve to 4-2-1.
The hosts captured a quick lead, scoring twice within three minutes to hold a 2-0 lead by the seventh minute of the contest. After seeing North Georgia add a third goal in the 22nd minute, the Chargers decided to get in on the scoring action.

Ragnar Gunnarsson helped his team cut into the deficit by scoring on a penalty kick. Just over 12 minutes later in the 35th minute, Gunnarsson picked up his second score of the game to give UAH a new life heading into halftime.
The goals are the first two of the season for the Akranes, Iceland, native.
However, the Saints again scored early, regaining a two-goal advantage just over a minute into the second stanza, and North Georgia would add a pair of goals late to produce the 6-2 final.
UAH faced a barrage of shots as the home team recorded 22 on the day – though only eight reached the target. The Chargers were able to get off 10 shots, including five that were on goal. The contest was relatively chippy as the teams were whistled for a combined 28 fouls and three cautions were issued.
The Chargers will look to bounce back from the setback on Sunday when they travel to St. Leo, Fla., to face No. 25 Saint Leo at 1:30 p.m. CDT.
