Lady Chargers To Visit #20 Saint Leo

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Looking to build upon its 2-1 double-overtime victory against West Alabama on Wednesday, the UAH women's soccer team travels to Florida to take on NCAA South Region foe No. 20 Saint Leo on Sunday. Kick-off between the 2-5 Lady Chargers and 7-0 SLU is set for 11 a.m. CDT Sunday.

Cady Reisman scored with five minutes remaining in the second extra period, and Iris Gunnarsdottir recorded seven stops in UAH's first conference game of the season – a win that snapped a five-game slide.

Assisting on the game-winner, Luting Sun moved into a tie with Khadijah Jannah for the team lead in points as both have five with two goals and an assist. Reisman sits in second with a pair of goals for four points.

Sunday's hosts have been impressive thus far this year – especially in its last contest. The Lions hosted No. 1 Florida Tech on Wednesday and knocked off the Panthers 1-0. Dair Alcantara scored Saint Leo's lone goal in the upset, giving her eight on the season to match teammate Pia Soesemann for the team-lead.

The team has scored 30 goals on the year while limiting its opposition to just six – three of which came in a season-opening contest with Gulf South Conference member West Georgia.
