HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Looking to continue what has been a steady improvement thus far this season, the UAH women's soccer team will hit the road to Montevallo for a 5 p.m. contest on Tuesday. The Lady Chargers own a 1-3 mark on the season, and UM enters the contest at 3-0-1.
The game marks the third in six days for both teams.
In their last contest, the Blue and White played a solid contest against one of the top teams in the region in North Alabama, falling 2-0 on a pair of quick goals.
Iris Gunnarsdottir has been strong in goal for the Lady Chargers, posting a Gulf South Conference leading 26 saves including seven in the setback on Sunday.
She will be facing a Montevallo side that has averaged two goals per game, and the Falcons are led by Nicole Johnston who has scored three times while adding an assist for a team-best seven points helping her team beat Barry, West Georgia and West Alabama.
The hosts have dominated the all-time series between the two programs, owning a 3-11-1 record against UAH, including a 4-1 win in Huntsville against the Lady Chargers a season ago.
