No. 3 St. Cloud State Hands Chargers 10-0 Defeat

Box Score HUNTSVILLE, Ala.- The third-ranked team in the country was too much for the University of Alabama in Huntsville hockey team on Friday night, as St. Cloud State coasted to a convincing 10-0 victory at the Von Braun Center.

UAH (0-9-0) could not find the back of the net against the third-ranked defense in the country and surrendered a season-high 10 goals to the Huskies.

St. Cloud State (7-1-1) scored three goals in the first period, six in the second period  one more in the third. The 10 goals scored by the Huskies was a season-high for them in 2013-14.

Huntsville-native Nic Dowd and Jonny Brodzinksi each scored a pair of goals, while five other players recorded a goal.

St. Cloud led in shots on goal by a final tally of 47-11 and saw four of their goals scored on the power play.
