About the Lady Chargers

RIGHTING THE SHIP: Winners of their last two contests, the Lady Chargers defeated Shorter, 3-2, last Wednesday for their first victory of the season, followed up by a convincing 5-0 victory over Tennessee Temple on Sunday.
 
BURNING THE NETS:  UAH has outscored their last two opponents, 8-2, including a season-high five goals on Sunday. The Blue and White have been led by a balanced attack, as seven different players have scored at least one goal over the past two contests. Maddie Maurice has been particularly impressive, scoring twice and notching an assist to post five points in the last two games.
 
JUST ONE MORE: Senior Iris Gunndarsdottir is now on the precipice of history as the Reykjavik, Iceland, native needs just one more save to stand alone in the record book after she stopped the two attempts that came in her direction Sunday. She enters Tuesday tied with Laura Jackson for the most saves in a career with 274.

About the Opponent

TOUGH TASK: North Georgia goes into Tuesday's matchup ranked seventh in the nation, boasting a 6-1 record on the season while currently riding a six-game win streak. The Knighthawks only loss came at the hands of Florida Tech, 3-0, in their season opener.
 
LEADING THE WAY: Kelly Penston leads the Knighthawks with seven goals and three assists, the senior also leads the team with 17 points, which is the second highest in the Peach Belt Conference.

Series History

Tuesday's matchup between UAH and UNG is the 10th time the two teams have matched up, with each team having four victories against each other. The Knighthawks have won the last two contests in the series, including a 3-0 defeat over UAH last season. The last win for the Blue and White came in 2007 when they blanked UNG, 2-0.
