UAH – 9 Stillman – 2 (Game One)
The Chargers reeled off four runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 4-1 lead after Stillman scored first in the top frame.

UAH capitalized on a throwing error by Stillman to bring in Victoria Frith from third, who got on base with a walk. In the ensuing at bat, Harrison doubled to left to bring in Kelley all the way from second. A Thompson single would score Harrison, and Bannister hustled home on a wild pitch after getting on base with a single to give the Chargers two more runs.

The Tigers cut the lead to two, 4-2, in the top of the third after Michaela Norman came home off a fielding error.

That would be the last time the Tigers would score as the Chargers answered back in the third with two runs of their own. Thompson reached on base with a fielder's choice before stealing both second and third. Mallory McNeal then drilled a triple to right center to score Thompson. In the next at bat Edenfield slapped a single to score McNeal for one of her two RBI.

The Chargers tacked on a run in the fourth and scored two more runs in the six to stretch the lead to seven, 9-2, to put the game out of reach

Taylor Doriety recorded the win for the Chargers to improve to 3-1 on the season as Doriety put in five innings of work inside the circle while allowing one earned run on two hits.

The Tigers scored their only two runs of the game in the top of the fourth when Jessica Mathews led off with a double before Ashley Handlee's triple to left field brought in Mathews. Hannah Burr's fielder's choice to second would score Handlee from third for their second run of the game.
