HUNTSVILLE | UAH head softball coach Melanie Carter has announced the addition of Anna Kate Segars to the Chargers coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant Coach.

Segars joins UAH following a successful collegiate playing career at Mississippi State University from 2019 to 2023. During her time in Starkville, she was a steady and reliable presence within the program, known for her strong work ethic, mental toughness, and strategic mindset. She was a key contributor during multiple NCAA postseason appearances and developed a strong passion for player development and mentorship throughout her career.

Seagars earned her bachelor's degree in Educational Psychology from Mississippi State University and now brings her enthusiasm for mentorship, player growth, and program culture to the UAH coaching staff.
