SCORING DIFFERENCE
The minus-2 goal margin is tied for the lowest weekend series' difference this season, tying the weekend in which UAH beat Bowling Green 4-3 and lost 3-0.
CARLSON'S CAREER
Brandon Carlson scored the first goal of his career on Friday night, which actually put the Chargers up 1-0 at 18:04 of the first period. Carlson redirected a shot after he gained position in front of the net.
SHARING STRUKOFF
Graeme Strukoff recorded assist No. 3 of the season, picking up the helper on the Carlson goal Friday night. It's the first point Strukoff has earned since Jan. 10 at Notre Dame and is the first WCHA point for the defenseman this season.
SOQUILA'S HELPER
Regan Soquila tallied his fourth assist of the year and his sixth point of the season on Friday night. It's Soquila's first assist since Nov. 9 at Alaska Anchorage.
LAROSE NETMINDING
Matt Larose finished with 40 or more saves for the fifth time this season in Friday's 2-1 defeat. The two goals allowed is the second-fewest for the freshman this season.
HANDY VANDY
Jeff Vanderlugt notched his fourth goal of the season on Saturday night, which ties him for second most on the team. Vanderlugt finished a fancy wrister from the circle to tie the game at 1-1 in the first period.
OH CAPTAIN
Captain
Doug Reid picked up his fifth assist of the season on the Vanderlugt goal. It was his first assists since the team's 4-1 defeat at Michigan Tech on Feb. 7.
STEALHANY
Matt Salhany lit the lamp for the fifth time this season, tying him for the team lead. Salhany used his speed to break out from the defense once again and made a pretty move to beat the LSSU goaltender. He has now scored a goal against five different opponents this season and four different WCHA teams.

The Bemidji State men's hockey team had Feb. 21-22 free form competition. In its last action, BSU split a WCHA series versus No. 4 Ferris State, Feb. 14-15. After dropping the opener 4-1, BSU bounced back to earn a 2-1 victory Saturday.
Radoslav Illo scored his eighth goal of 2013-14 Feb. 14 and added another Feb. 15, establishing a new single-season career-high for the senior. He has accumulated 24 goals and 27 assist in 126 games played.
Danny Mattson has 17 points (3g-14a) and sits tied for fourth on the team in scoring, but the junior has just three assists in the Beavers' last 14 outings. His Feb. 15 assist was his first point in four games.

NOTES: UAH has played Bemidji State more times than any other opponent in program history. The heated rivals date back to the mid-90's, when they met in four straight NCAA Division II National Championship Series'. The Beavers took both meetings earlier this season in Huntsville, which then served as the WCHA-opener and 2014 home opener for UAH. The Chargers bounced back on Saturday to fall just 1-0 after losing by five goals the night before.
