Both teams were missing their top runners from a season ago in Blaise Binns and Victoria Winslow.

On the men's side, the Chargers ran as a pack for much of the 8,000 meter course, and the results demonstrate that as seven UAH runners finished in a 14-position span that started with top finisher Kenny Richardson who finished 11th while pacing the Blue and White with a 26:41.4 time.

Myles Scarano finished 13th by completing the event in 26:52.8, while Danny Collins ran the course in 26:53.2 to place 14th. Turning in a time of 26:57.3 was Jose Ortega who placed 15th, and Daniel Rush rounded out the UAH scorers with a 27:12.4 time that was good for 21st.

The Chargers had another pair of runners finish in the top 25 in freshmen Anthony Parameswaran and Anthony Wells who finished 23rd and 25th, respectively. On the women's side, Michelle Kruse and Kailey Williams led the way for the Chargers, finishing in third and fourth, respectively. Kruse crossed the line at 18:47.3, while Williams owned a time of 18:53.0.

UAH's next finishers came in the 46th, 47th and 48th positions in the form of Heather Powell, Chloe Whitworth, and Kelsey Crawford. Powell finished in 20:54.4, Whitworth in 20:58.0, and Crawford crossed the line right at the 21-minute mark to complete UAH's scorers.

Vanessa Cardwell (67th/22:00.1), Katie Brakke (73rd/22:17.1), Anna Scarlett (83rd/23:06.6), Alison Jay (85th/23:10.5), and Katelyn Clarke (96th/24:17.4) also all ran for UAH on the day.
