GSC ROAD ACTION: The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer team will continue conference play on Sunday, travelling to Livingston to take on West Alabama in a match slated to start at 3:30 p.m. The Chargers will be looking to bounce back from the 3-1 setback to North Alabama from Thursday night.

STRONG STARTS: UAH has scored first – and early – in each of its last three contests with Sydnie Fiocca scoring in the second minute against Tennessee Temple, Khadijah Jannah in the fifth against Findlay, and Alexcia Alexander in the 22nd.

FRESHMAN ON TOP: With her score against North Alabama, the reigning GSC Freshman of the Week Alexander took the UAH lead in both goals and points. The Lafayette, Louisiana, native has scored four times and has added an assist to total nine points, numbers that rank her third and fifth in the GSC in goals and points, respectively.

SCOUTING UWA: The Tigers are 3-1 on the season and will be playing their first conference game of the season on Sunday. After falling 1-0 to Pfeiffer to start the season, West Alabama has reeled off three straight wins including a 2-1 victory over Auburn Montgomery on Thursday night. Nicki Gears leads the Tigers with three goals and an assist for seven points, and Issy Foster has logged the most time in goal for UWA, owning an .846 save percentage and a goals against average of just 0.60.

SERIES HISTORY: West Alabama holds a slim 3-2 edge in the brief series after taking both contests a season ago.

LAST YEAR IN LIVINGSTON: The Tigers won 2-0 at Tiger Stadium last season as Gears broke a scoreless tie in the 84th minute, and UWA would add another score to ice the game in the 89th. Melody Dodd and Sydnie Fiocca both had shots on goal for the Chargers.
