GSC DOUBLE DIP: The Chargers return home to face a pair of conference foes as GSC-newcomer Mississippi College visits Friday evening at 5 p.m., and Delta State will visit on Sunday afternoon with the kickoff slated for 1 p.m. UAH will be aiming for its first league win of the season following setbacks to North Alabama and West Alabama, and the Chargers sit now at 1-5 (0-2 GSC).

ALUMNI NIGHT: Friday night at Charger Park will be Alumni Night as UAH welcomes back its soccer alums for the women's and men's doubleheader. Presentation of an alumni card will grant free admission to the games for UAH soccer graduates and their families, and the UAH Alumni Association will be present with free Charger spirit items available.

FRESHMEN MAKING AN IMPACT: Two of UAH's statistical leaders thus far this season are freshmen as goalkeeper
Larae Breaux has been strong in making the last four starts in net for the Chargers while
Alexcia Alexander has proven to be an offensive force. Breaux has registered 24 of her 27 saves in the past three contests to lead the GSC in that category, while Alexander's four goals is tied for fourth in the league.

ABOUT THE CHOCTAWS: Mississippi College in the process to rejoin the GSC and Division II, and the women's soccer team is off to a strong start with a 5-1 mark including a 1-0 record in league play. Melanie Benner leads MC with four goals and four assists for 12 points, and Robin Cooper features a 1.02 goals against average in goal.

GAMES AGAINST MC IN THE STANDINGS: Though the Choctaws are not eligible for postseason play, all contests against Mississippi College count as GSC contests in the league standings.

SERIES HISTORY: Friday night's contest will be the first-ever between the two programs.

ABOUT THE LADY STATESMEN: Delta State enters play this weekend at 1-5 overall and 0-3 in league action. All three conference games have been close, losing by a 2-1 score to both Mississippi College and West Georgia and 2-0 to Valdosta State. DSU – who is led by Lauren May's five goals – will travel to West Alabama on Friday before travelling to the Tennessee Valley.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH holds a strong 9-2-0 advantage in the all-time series with the Lady Statesmen. One of Delta State's two wins against the Chargers came a season ago in a 2-1 decision in the Rocket City.
