BACK ON THE ROAD: The Chargers will head to West Tennessee for a pair of games, taking a 7-7 (4-4 Gulf South Conference) record to Union for a 2 p.m. tilt on Saturday before heading to Memphis to take on Christian Brothers at 5 p.m. on Monday evening. After splitting a pair of home contests to open up play after the holiday break, UAH has won four of its last six games. The contest can be heard on 97.7 The Zone in the Tennessee Valley.

CONFERENCE UPDATE: UAH sits in a three-way tie for fourth in the standings among teams that are eligible for the postseason, and these next two games are pivotal as Union sits alone in second at 6-2 while CBU is one of three teams tied for seventh with a 3-5 mark. West Florida currently leads the conference at 7-1.

STRONG FROM DOWNTOWN:  The Chargers have had success from beyond the arc this season, hitting 7.4 3-pointers per game while connecting on 36.0 percent of their attempts, and both of those numbers rank third in the GSC. Saturday's opponent Union ranks second with a 3-point field goal percentage of 36.8 percent and sits first with 10.6 made 3s per contest.

AWAY FROM THE ROCKET CITY: In road games this season, UAH is 3-3 with two of those wins coming in conference play. The Chargers have shot 48.1 percent from the field – including a strong 48.6 from long-range – in the road wins, and five players have scored at least 8.7 points per game in the victories. UAH has also been strong defensively in the out-of-town victories, holding opponents to a shooting percentage of just 31.1 percent.

ABOUT UNION: The Bulldogs enter Saturday with a 10-2 (6-2 GSC) record, and the team is a perfect 6-0 this season at home. The squad is averaging 78.8 points per game behind the strong performance of Amy Philamlee who is scoring 23.3 points per contest to go along with 8.1 assists per game, and the squad also features a pair of players averaging double figures in both points and rebounds in DeAnna Thompson (16.5 points, 10.8 rebounds) and Kelsey Risner (14.6 points, 10.0 rebounds).

SERIES HISTORY: The Chargers dropped both contests to Union last season, giving the Bulldogs a 6-0 advantage in the all-time series. In Jackson last year, Union won 105-86.

ABOUT CHRISTIAN BROTHERS: CBU is 5-9 (3-5 GSC) on the season, posting a .500 mark in Memphis at 3-3, and the squad has lost four of its last six contests. All-GSC performer Breanna Ridgell leads the Lady Bucs with a scoring average of 17.5 points, while Taylor Pugh is the team's leader on the glass having grabbed 6.2 rebounds per contest.

SERIES HISTORY: With a series sweep in 2013-14, the Chargers improved to 12-9 against Christian Brothers. UAH led much of the contest last year in Memphis en route to a 78-62 road win.
