RECENT ACTION: UAH most recently dropped a pair of home contests to visiting Michigan Tech at the Von Braun Center on Nov. 6-7 by scores of 4-2 and 2-1. The Chargers are now 3-4-1 overall and 2-3-1 within the WCHA, ranking seventh in the league standings.
 
SURGING SOPHOMORE: UAH points leader Brennan Saulnier notched his fourth assist of the season in the Nov. 6 contest, giving the sophomore 10 points on the season thanks to a team-high six goals in 2015-16. Saulnier's 1.43 points per game rank first in the WCHA and 12th nationally.
 
MEMORABLE FIRST: Sophomore defenseman Brandon Parker tallied his first career goal on Nov. 6, which was a shot that sailed past MTU's netminder Jamie Phillips from the Chargers defensive end. Parker has contributed three assists and one goal for four points this year to give the Fairbault, Minnesota, native 18 points (1g-17a) in his career.
 
OFFENSE GROWS: The Chargers are second overall in the WCHA with 7.75 points per game so far in 2015-16, while also rating second in the league with 3.12 goals per contest. Last season, UAH averaged 4.39 points per game.
 
BETWEEN THE PIPES: Third-year head coach Mike Corbett split time in goal against Michigan Tech between juniors Matt Larose and Carmine Guerriero, with Larose starting Friday and Guerriero taking the net Saturday. The pair combined for 64 saves in the weekend series, giving the tandem 218 saves, a 2.84 goals against average and a .905 save percentage this season.
 
CONTROLLING THE PUCK: UAH is atop the WCHA with a .550 faceoff win percentage, which is a mark that rates seventh overall in the NCAA. Captain Brent Fletcher paces the Blue and White with a win rate of .632 to rank 16th in the country, followed by Max McHugh in 28th in the nation with a .599 faceoff win percentage.
 
FALCONS PROFILE: Sixth-year head coach Chris Bergeron has his squad off to a 5-3-3 overall record and a 2-2-2 mark within the WCHA, after most recently splitting a series at Michigan Tech over the weekend. Kevin Dufour leads the Falcons with eight points from a team-high six goals to go with two assists, while Chris Nell and Tommy Burke have split time in goal for a .934 save percentage and a 1.87 goals against average.
 
MATCHUP HISTORY: UAH is 3-14-1 overall against the Falcons and 1-7-1 when visiting Bowling Green, Ohio, with the Falcons taking all four matchups in the 2014-15 campaign. On Dec. 7, 2013, UAH defeated BGSU 4-3 in overtime for the program's first WCHA victory.
 
LOOKING AHEAD: The Chargers will have a two-series homestand with visits from Bemidji State (Nov. 25, 27) and Northern Michigan (Dec.  4-5) following the away series at BGSU this weekend.
