ON THE ROAD: The UAH women's soccer team travels this weekend to the Gulf Coast, taking on No. 17 West Florida at 5 p.m. on Friday in Pensacola before venturing back to Mobile, Alabama, for a 1 p.m. kickoff against Spring Hill on Sunday. The Chargers currently own a 7-7 record with a 3-6 mark in conference play.

RECAPPING LAST WEEK: UAH picked up a convincing 3-1 victory over Shorter last Friday at Charger Park with
Alexcia Alexander,
Maddie Maurice, and
Arieal Alexander all scoring, and the team wrapped up the weekend with a 5-1 setback to Lee on Sunday.

STANDINGS UPDATE: West Florida sits on the top of the GSC with a perfect 8-0 mark and 24 points, while Lee is in second on 21 points. Mississippi College, West Alabama, and West Georgia are all level in third with 19 points on the year, and Union would take the last postseason place if the season ended today with 16 points.

GOING FORWARD: Alexcia Alexander is among the top goal scorers in the GSC as her seven goals on the season rank ninth in the conference, and she is tied for the team lead offensively as
Sydney Pfankuch has six goals and four assists to match Alexander's 16 points.

SAVING THE DAY: Larae Breaux continues to be strong in goal for the Chargers, and she is currently second in the GSC with 89 saves on the season. She is also tied for third in the league with four shutouts, and the Carencro, Louisiana, native remains tied for the program's career record in clean sheets with nine.

ABOUT WEST FLORIDA:Â The Argos are 11-3 overall on the year and are undefeated in conference play owning an 8-0 record. Leading from the front is Marjorie Boilesen whose 27 points for the year tops West Florida and the GSC.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH is in search of its first win in the all-time series with West Florida as Friday's hosts are 21-0-0 against the Chargers. Last yearr the Argos were 4-0 winners at Charger Park.
