RECENT ACTION: UAH now stands at 2-7-1 overall and a 2-3-1 record in WCHA play, following a pair of losses at No. 10 St. Cloud State this past weekend by scores of 5-1 and 5-2. The Chargers are 2-2-0 against ranked opponents in 2016.

UPCOMING WEEKEND: The Chargers will make their first trek to the Last Frontier of the 2016-17 season as the squad heads to Alaska Anchorage for a two-game WCHA series on Friday and Saturday night at 10:07 p.m. UAH is 5-20-2 all-time against UAA and 1-14-0 when playing in Anchorage.

JUNIOR RISING: Huntsville native
Josh Kestner now owns a team-high seven points from three goals and four assists so far this season, after scoring a goal in each game at SCSU. Kestner's seven points ranks tied for 11th in the WCHA, while his four assists are tied for 14th in the league.

BETWEEN THE PIPES: Jordan Uhelski played the full time in goal in both games this past weekend at St. Cloud State, turning in 10 goals allowed and 72 total saves in 120 minutes between the pipes.  The junior – who totaled a season-high 48 saves in the opener at SCSU – now owns a 3.59 goals against average and a .893 save percentage.

ON THE BLOCK: UAH enters the week as the national leader in blocks with 156 as a team so far this season, with
Cam Knight leading the nation individually with 25 blocks in 10 games. Knight is followed by
Brandon Carlson and
Brandon Parker on the national leaderboard in a tie for second in the NCAA with 23 blocks.

FINDING THE NET: Max McHugh continues to lead the Chargers in goals in his junior campaign with a WCHA-leading five goals in addition to one assist for six points to rate second on the UAH roster. McHugh boasts a career 24 goals and 27 assists for 51 points heading into the weekend at Alaska Anchorage.

LOOKING AHEAD: Following the weekend series at Alaska Anchorage, the Chargers will begin a three-series homestand next weekend with a visit from Alaska Fairbanks on Nov. 11-12 at the Von Braun Center. UAH will then host Bowling Green on Nov. 18-19 and Ferris State on Dec. 3-4.

SEAWOLVES PROFILE: Alaska Anchorage enters the weekend with a 1-5-0 overall record and a 0-2-0 mark within the WCHA, after falling to Bemidji State in a two-game set last week by scores of 2-1 and 4-0. UAA's offense is paced by a pair of two-point scorers in Jonah Renouf (1g-1a) and Austin Azurdia (0g-2a), while Olivier Mantha has played the majority of time in goal for a 3.18 goals against average and a .898 save percentage.
