BUSY WEEK OF ACTION: The UAH women's basketball team will play three games in the final week of action before the Christmas break beginning with a Monday trek up I-65 for a 3 p.m. tip at Trevecca Nazarene in Nashville for the final non-conference game of the regular season. The Chargers will then step back into GSC play and return home for a pair with a Thursday visit from West Georgia at 5:30 p.m. and a Saturday afternoon contest with West Alabama slated for 2 p.m. UAH enters the week at 0-5 (0-1 GSC).
 
ABILITY SPORTS NETWORK DEMO THURSDAY: At halftime of both the women's and men's games on Thursday, the Chargers will welcome UAH's Ability Sports Network to the floor for a demonstration of its wheelchair basketball team. LAST TIME OUT: UAH turned in its best performance of the season when it fell in a narrow 70-66 setback at North Alabama. The Chargers shot a strong 51.9 percent – including a 10-for-23 showing from 3-point land – in the game, and the team was paced offensively on the day by 
Caroline Dodd who scored 17.
 
AT THE STRIPE: The Chargers have taken advantage of their trip to the free throw line this season, ranking second in the GSC with a free throw percentage of 74.3 percent. Among players with at least 10 attempts on the team, 
Baylee Johnson leads the way as she is 11-for-12.
 
JOHNSON FROM DOWNTOWN: Johnson's strong shooting is just at the free throw line as she is also turning in a league-best showing from beyond the arc. On the year, the sophomore is connecting on 3-pointers at a 44.0 percent clip as she has made 11 of her 25 attempts to pace the GSC.
 
ABOUT TREVECCA NAZARENE: The Trojans are now 3-4 on the season after beating Fisk 65-58 on Dec. 1, and the team has not been in action since an exhibition contest against Belmont on Dec. 2. The team continues to be paced by Sarah Raby who is scoring 10.4 points per game.
 
SERIES HISTORY: TNU was a 69-58 winner earlier this year in Huntsville on Nov. 29 to push its advantage in the all-time series to 4-1. Johnson led UAH in that game with 20 points, while 
Chandler Elder had 18 to go along with eight rebounds.
 
ABOUT WEST GEORGIA: The Wolves are 1-3 on the season and open up GSC action on Monday at West Alabama. De'Aishia Jones leads UWG on the year as she is averaging a double-double with 13.3 points per contest to go along with a rebounding mark of 11.3 per game.
 
SERIES HISTORY: Last season both teams defended their respective home courts, so West Georgia now leads the all-time series 28-23. The Chargers were 58-54 winners in Huntsville in a game in which Foster went off for five treys en route to scoring a team-best 18 points.
 
ABOUT WEST ALABAMA: Monday's contest against UWG will also mark the conference opener for the Tigers who are 3-3 as they enter play in this week that will also see the team play North Alabama before traveling to the Rocket City on Saturday. The team is led by Ariel Wilson who has 14.0 points per game and a team-high 3.2 assists per contest.
 
SERIES HISTORY: The two teams also defended their own floors in this series last season, giving UWA a 32-27 advantage all-time against UAH. At Spragins Hall last year, the Chargers knocked off the Tigers 72-63.
