BACK AT HOME: The Chargers wrap up a three-series home stand this coming weekend as they welcome Ferris State – who UAH swept to open the season on Oct. 1-2 – on this Saturday and Sunday. Puck drops at 7:07 p.m. on Saturday, and then at 3:07 p.m. on Sunday.

RECENT ACTION: UAH dropped a pair of home WCHA contests on Nov. 18-19 to visiting Bowling Green by scores of 4-1 and 8-3 on Friday and Saturday, respectively. The Chargers now sit at 4-10-2 overall and 4-6-2 within the WCHA, putting the squad in a two-way tie for fifth in the league standings with Ferris State with 14 points.

SOPHOMORE SURGE: Sophomore
Kurt Gosselin has recorded at least one point in the Chargers past six games, as the Brighton, Michigan, native compiled one goal and one assist in the weekend series against BGSU. This season, Gosselin is second on the team with 10 points (4g-6a), and ranks tied for tenth among NCAA defensemen with seven points from three goals and four assists since his point-streak started on Nov. 4.

HOMETOWN PRODUCTION: Huntsville native
Josh Kestner continues to lead the Chargers offense with 12 points from four goals and a team-high eight assists this season, after posting one goal and one assist in the series against the Falcons. The junior begins the week in a tie for ninth in the WCHA with his 12 points and is tied for 12th with eight assists.

ON THE BLOCK: The Chargers enter the week fourth in the nation with 231 blocks as a team, led by junior
Brandon Parker in a three-way tie for second in the NCAA with 36 blocks in 2016-17. The Chargers have also been aided by
Brandon Carlson and
Cam Knight with 31 blocks apiece.

FRIENDLY NOVEMBER:
Cam Knight has seen a surge in his offensive production since the beginning of November, as the sophomore has totaled one goal and five assists since UAH's Nov. 4-5 trip to Alaska Anchorage. Knight now ranks tied for fourth on the UAH roster with eight points (2g-6a), while being second in points among UAH defensemen.

BULLDOGS PROFILE: Ferris State enters the week with a 5-9-1 overall record and 4-5-1 within the WCHA, after most recently sweeping Lake Superior State at home by scores of 3-0 and 7-5 on Nov. 18-19. The Bulldogs offense is paced by Craig Pefley with 15 points on three goals and 12 assists, while Justin Kapelmaster has started five of the last eight FSU games for a 1.85 goals against average and a .943 save percentage. UAH is 5-13-1 overall against Ferris State and 1-5-0 when playing in Huntsville.
