BACK AT IT: The UAH men's lacrosse team returns to action for the first time since its inaugural game, heading to North Greenville for a 12 p.m. CST contest on Saturday. The Chargers will carry a 1-0 record into the game.
 
ANOTHER FIRST: This first season of UAH men's lacrosse will be full of many firsts, and Saturday's game will mark the first road date for the program.
 
RECAPPING THE WIN: The Chargers started out the season in fantastic fashion, picking up an 11-10 victory in overtime over Brevard on Feb. 21. UAH trailed by as many as four goals in the second quarter before sealing the comeback win on Quincy Ward's overtime marker.
 
BALANCED ATTACK: In the opening win, UAH had seven different players that scored a goal including four that scored twice, and in total, nine different Chargers recorded a point. Kevin Coppinger had the best day offensively as he scored twice and added an assist to compile three points.
 
ABOUT NORTH GREENVILLE: NG is 2-3 on the season and owns a 2-1 mark at home, and the second-year program has won two of its last three contests. The team is averaging 7.6 goals per game while giving up 9.8, and the Crusaders are surrendering more 35 shots on average.
 
LEADING THE CRUSADERS: Alex Proly has recorded a team-best 16 points on the year with seven goals and nine assists, while Drew Wassenaar has racked up a team-high eight scores to go along with four assists. The owner of 31 ground balls, Jalen Bell also features 47 wins at the X, and Matthew Sandoval has stopped 50 saves in goal for NG.
