WOMEN'S RESULTS
CEDARVILLE, Ohio | The University of Alabama in Huntsville cross country squads traveled to the Friendship Invitational on Saturday morning, coming away with a second-place finish for the men and a sixth-place standing for the women.

On the men's side, the Chargers benefitted from a pair of top-five performances led by
Brydon Groves-Scott in fourth place with a time of 26:12.0. Junior
Anthony Wells quickly followed Groves-Scott in fifth at a personal-best time of 26:13.6 in the 8k race.

Also placing in the top 20 for the UAH men were freshman
Benjamin Knox (13th, 26:50.9) and
Alex Gilliland (17th, 27:02.6).

For the women's team, sophomore
Angel Sillivant led the Chargers in 25th place overall on a time of 19:48.3, and she was followed by
Marlee Mason in 30th at 19:57.2,
Stacy Solomon in 39th at 20:15.9 and
Lauren Allred in 50th at 20:31.6 to round out UAH in the top 50 of the field.
