THREE-GAME HOMESTAND: The UAH women's basketball team is home for its longest stretch of consecutive games this year at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall, welcoming a trio of GSC opponents over five days. The three-game stretch starts with a 5:30 p.m. visit from Delta State on Thursday, continues with a 2 p.m. contest against Mississippi College on Saturday, and wraps up with the rivalry showdown with North Alabama on Monday at 5:30 p.m. The Chargers enter the period at 2-14 (1-10 GSC).

RECAPPING LAST WEEK: The Chargers opened up play last week with a 68-57 setback to Shorter at home before falling on the road at Lee 72-56. In the Lee contest, Chandler Elder scored 21 points while grabbing five rebounds, dishing out four assists, and collecting three steals to pace the team.

AROUND THE GSC: West Florida continues to lead the league now featuring a 10-2 record, while Monday's opponent UNA is in second at 8-3. Lee sits in third with a 7-4 mark, a half-game ahead of Christian Brothers and Valdosta State who are tied for fourth at 7-5. Mississippi College and West Georgia are even in fifth with 6-5 marks, and if the postseason started today, Shorter would be the eighth team in the tournament field with a 5-6 record.

LEADING THE WAY: At the turn of the conference season, the top of the UAH offensive ledger features Baylee Johnson who is scoring 12.1 points per contest, and she is joined by Elder who is also averaging double figures with 10.0 points per contest. On the glass, the Chargers are led by Elder's 6.7 boards per game, and both Elder and Johnson lead the team with 2.0 assists per contest. Among players with at least 100 field goal attempts, Katie Speegle has the best shooting percentage as she has connected on 50.4 percent of her attempts.

ABOUT DELTA STATE: DSU travels to Huntsville with an overall record of 7-9, a league mark of 4-7, and a 1-7 record in road games. Alondrea Rush leads a trio of Lady Statesmen who are scoring in double figures as she has 12.6 points per game, while Kaelin Kneeland leads Delta on the glass with 7.0 rebounds per contest.

SERIES HISTORY: The Lady Statesmen lead the all-time series by a 19-5 margin after picking up a 64-53 win in Cleveland on Jan. 14. When the two teams met a year ago in Huntsville, the Chargers picked up a 57-52 victory which gave UAH three wins in the last five home games against DSU.

ABOUT MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE: The Choctaws enter play this week with a 9-6 (6-5 GSC) record, and the team is 2-4 in games away from Clinton going into its Thursday night contest at North Alabama. Ashley Minor and Kelley Allen lead the team with 14.5 and 14.0 points per game, respectively.

SERIES HISTORY: Two weeks ago in Clinton, Mississippi College won 75-65 to cut UAH's margin in the series to a 6-3 advantage. In the meeting last year between the two in the Rocket City, Johnson scored 15 to help UAH win 64-53.

ABOUT NORTH ALABAMA: The Lions are 14-3 overall and are second in the GSC with an 8-3 mark, and though the team is 10-0 in Florence, it owns just a 3-3 record in road games. Ivy Wallen is scoring 19.8 points per game to lead UNA offensively.

SERIES HISTORY: With a 70-66 win earlier this season in Florence, UNA now owns a 55-23 advantage in the all-time series with the Chargers. Last season in Huntsville, the Chargers were 58-51 winners in a game where Elder was one of three players to score in double figures for UAH as she scored 15.
