HOME BEFORE THE TURKEY: The UAH women's basketball team will play on Wednesday night, welcoming Kentucky State to Kelly Court at Spragins Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Eve. The Chargers enter the contest at 3-1.

LAST TIME OUT: The Chargers picked up a solid come-from-behind victory on Saturday at Oakland City, winning 79-68 with four different players scoring in double figures including both Baylee Johnson and Katie Speegle who poured in 17 in the contest.

BALANCED EFFORT: UAH also has four different players who are averaging double figures on the season led by Johnson's scoring average of 19.0 points per game. Speegle is scoring at an 11.5 points per game clip, while Chandler Elder features a scoring mark of 11.3 points per contest. With 10.3 points per game, Loren Foster rounds out the double-figure scoring contingent.

CLEANING THE GLASS: The Chargers have outrebounded the opposition in three contests on the year, and each of those three games resulted in victories. Indiviaully, UAH is led by Elder's 7.5 rebounds per game while five other players are grabbing at least four per contest.

BLOCK PARTY: Through the team's first four games, the Chargers have totaled 12 blocks with nine of those comings from freshmen Emme Willoughby and Emiline Payne, ranking them among the best in the conference in blocks as Willoughby is tied for fourth with 1.3 per contest while Payne is tied for sixth with 1.0 per game.

ABOUT KENTUCKY STATE: KSU visits the Rocket City at 0-4 after falling to Missouri St. Louis and North Alabama since last meeting the Chargers back on Nov. 11. Brittani Rizzi leads the Thorobrettes with 10.0 points per game and is the only player to score in double figures for the team that is averaging 55.0 points per contest.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH is now 4-2 against Kentucky State after defeating the team 64-52 earlier this year. In that contest, Johnson really shined as she went 10-for-18 from the floor on her way to scoring 28.
