RECENT ACTION: The Chargers are coming off their shortest road trip of the season at Bowling Green this past weekend, as the squad tied 3-3 and picked up the extra WCHA point in shootouts in the series opener before the Falcons notched a 3-1 win on Saturday. UAH is now 1-2-1 through four games of this 12-game road swing.

HOMETOWN LEADER: Following a two-goal performance in the series opener at BGSU, Josh Kestner now ranks tied for seventh nationally and second in the WCHA with a career-high 12 goals so far in 2017-18. Kestner – who leads the team and is tied for sixth in the WCHA with 16 points (12g-4a) – is one of three Chargers to score 12 goals or more in the past decade.

HELPING JUNIOR: Tyler Poulsen remains second on the roster with 14 points on four goals and a team-high 10 assists after scoring the Blue & White's lone goal on Saturday. Poulsen enters the weekend ranked tied for 10th in the WCHA slate with 11 points (2g-9a).

STAYING POSITIVE: Madison Dunn potted his third goal of the season and he's now tied for fifth on the roster with eight points thanks to an additional five assists in 2017-18. Dunn has been the most positive Charger on the ice this season with a +9 rating in 18 appearances, which is tied for second in the WCHA entering this weekend.

GROWING BLUE LINER: John Teets picked up an assist in the series opener at Bowling Green, giving the junior at least one point in each of the past three series as he's now tied for first among UAH defensemen with eight points on three goals and five assists. Teets is already amidst a career year, after posting five points on one goal and four assists in his sophomore campaign.

ON THE BLOCK: The Chargers enter the weekend with a league-best 251 blocks as a team in the 2017-18 season, which rates 14th nationally as well. Cody Champagne leads the way with 33 blocks to rank tied for 33rd nationally, while nine other Chargers have 10 or more blocks this season.

LOOKING AHEAD: UAH will have its first week away from competition in the past nine weeks as the squad was last inactive during the Oct. 13-14 set of contests. The Chargers return from the break on Dec. 29-30 when the Blue & White head to Bemidji, Minnesota, to take on rival Bemidji State.

MAVERICKS PROFILE: Minnesota State enters the weekend 11-5-0 overall and 9-3-0 within the WCHA after most recently sweeping Lake Superior State by scores of 5-1 and 7-0 in Sault Ste.
