ONE MORE GO AT IT: The UAH women's basketball team will wrap up the 2016-17 campaign this week with a pair of road games, traveling to West Tennessee to take on Christian Brothers on Thursday at 5 p.m. before concluding the year with a 2 p.m. visit to Union on Saturday. UAH enters the final weekend at 5-20 (4-16 Gulf South Conference).

RECAPPING LAST WEEK: The Chargers finished the home slate with visits from the top two teams in the conference, falling 64-48 to Valdosta State before dropping a 67-54 decision to West Florida.

LEADING THE WAY: Baylee Johnson and
Chandler Elder continue to pace the Chargers offensively, scoring 11.7 and 11.1 points per game, respectively. Johnson has been strong at the charity stripe this year, ranking second in the league with a 79.5 percent success rate in free throws, while Elder is 11th in the league in rebounding and steals and tied for 14th in assists per game.

FROM DOWNTOWN: The Chargers are the fifth-best 3-point shooting team in the conference and are led from long-range by
Loren Foster who is tied for sixth in the GSC with 2.1 3-pointers per game. The junior has recorded at least one 3-pointer in 21 of the team's 25 games on the year.

ABOUT CHRISTIAN BROTHERS: CBU has dropped four straight to enter this week at 12-12 (9-11 GSC), but the squad is 8-4 on its home floor. Samantha Reeves continues to pace the team, scoring 17.8 points per game while also leading the team on the glass with 7.1 rebounds per game.

SERIES HISTORY: After CBU was a 57-52 winner in Huntsville on Jan. 9, the Chargers now lead the all-time series by a 15-11 margin. A year ago in Memphis, the Chargers picked up a 52-47 road win over the Bucs.

ABOUT UNION: The Bulldogs are 15-11 overall and 10-10 entering play this week which starts with a visit from North Alabama on Thursday. Four players score in double figures for UU with Bria Gaines leading the team with 14.3 points per contest, and she, too, leads the Bulldogs in rebounding with 7.7 boards per contest.
