UAH Welcomes Adams State to Charger Park on Tuesday

BACK AT CHARGER PARK: The UAH men's lacrosse team will be back at Charger Park on Tuesday after a three-game road swing through the Sunshine State as the Chargers will welcome Adams State for a 1 p.m. tilt. UAH enters the game at 3-5 on the year.
 
RECAPPING LAST WEEK: The Chargers started off the Spring Break trip with a neutral site game against Notre Dame de Namur which the Chargers won 12-6 before the team fell 21-3 at No. 15 Saint Leo and 21-0 at Florida Southern.
 
ALWAYS IMPROVING: The Chargers have already approached or bested numerous statistical marks from last year including now the season goal total as UAH has scored 88 times this year compared to 82 goals a year ago. The team has also matched last year's win total, and UAH has five games remaining to beat that mark.
 
LEADING THE WAY: Luke LeVette continues to pace the team offensively on the year as he has 15 goals and 12 assists for a team-best 27 points, while Kevin Coppinger – who recently scored his 50th career goal – has 23 points on the season on the strength of 13 goals and 10 assists. The 13-goal performance from Coppinger has been matched by both Daniel Wilcox, Jr., and Bryant Baus. Jake Fowler leads the squad with 25 ground balls on the year, and he has also won a team-best 118 face-offs.
 
ABOUT ADAMS STATE: The Grizzlies visit the Rocket City at 2-2 on the year including a 1-1 road mark after falling 18-6 at No. 4 Lindenwood on Sunday. On the season, the team is scoring 8.3 goals per game while giving up 11.3 goals per contest, and Collin Cranfield leads the teams offensively with eight goals and an assist for a team-best nine points. Connor Johnson has earned the majority of minutes in the cage, making 65 stops in four games.
 
SERIES HISTORY: Tuesday's meeting marks the first between the two programs.
