BACK AT IT: For the first time since March 10, The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse team will be in action on Wednesday at 12 p.m. when the Chargers step back into Great Lakes Valley Conference play at Indianapolis. UAH heads into the contest at 6-2 (1-0 GLVC).

LAST TIME OUT: The Chargers picked up a 14-6 victory against Notre Dame de Namur when last they played, and
Emory Weaver led UAH offensively in that game with four goals.

AROUND THE GLVC: Young Harris presently sits on top of the conference standings at 2-0, while UAH follows at second with Indianapolis just a half game back in third at 1-1. Maryville checks in at fourth with a 1-2 mark, while Montevallo and Shorter are tied for fifth in the league with identical 0-1 records.

HEATING UP: The freshman Weaver has had an immediate impact in his debut season, totaling 14 goals on the year which ranks third on the team, and he has been especially impressive of late as he has eight goals in the team's last three games.

POTENT ATTACK: The Chargers feature the second-best offense in the league in goals per game, averaging 12.4 per contest while also ranking second in the GLVC with 6.6 assists per game. Additionally, UAH is one of just two teams in the league to have three players rank in the top 10 in the conference in points per game:
Luke LeVette, second at 3.5;
Kevin Coppinger tied for fifth at 3.0; and Weaver, 10th at 2.4.

FACE-OFF SUCCESS: UAH is one of the best teams in the country in face-offs on the year, ranking 11th in Division II with a success rate of 60.5 percent. Additionally,
Nik Kubik is 16th in the country as he is winning face-offs at a 60.4 percent clip.

ABOUT INDIANAPOLIS: The Greyhounds are 3-3 overall on the year and 1-1 in conference play, and the team has dropped two straight after falling 11-7 to Young Harris on the road on Saturday. Parker Kump is leading the team offensively with 16 goals and two assists for 18 points, while Robbie Berardi has a team-best 27 groundballs. In goal, the minutes have been distributed somewhat evenly between three plays with Tanner Gurin leading the way with a 5.50 goals against average and a .560 save percentage.
