HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's tennis team fell at Athletic Club Alabama on Saturday to No. 35 West Alabama, dropping a 6-3 decision on the regular season's final day. The Chargers slip to 6-13 (4-7 GSC), while UWA improves 15-4 (9-3 GSC).

UAH will now turn its focus to the postseason as the Chargers will be the No. 8 seed in the upcoming Gulf South Conference Women's Tennis Championships, taking on top-seeded West Florida.

That match is slated for 1:30 p.m. on Thursday in Montgomery.
