REGULAR SEASON FINALE: The UAH men's lacrosse team will close out the 2018 regular season on Saturday, welcoming Great Lakes Valley Conference foe Young Harris to the Rocket City for a 4 p.m. contest. The Chargers enter the game at 8-5 (3-1 GSC).

AROUND THE GLVC: A conference title will be on the line in Huntsville on Saturday as a Charger victory would produce co-champions of UAH, Young Harris, and Indianapolis, while the Mountain Lions would secure the title outright and earn the top seed in next week's conference tournament with a victory. Maryville has secured the No. 4 seed in the postseason event.

LAST TIME OUT: UAH played its final regular season road game last weekend and earned a solid 12-1 win over Shorter, setting the program record for fewest goals allowed in a single game.

HOME SWEET HOME: Parallel to the program's continued rise, the Chargers have improved each season in Huntsville. The team went 2-3 in its first season in home contests and then improved upon that with a winning 3-2 record a season ago. This year, the Chargers are 4-1 in home contests, and the team is scoring 13.4 goals per game in the Rocket City which is more than two goals more per contest than the team is averaging overall on the year.

TEAM LEADERS: Sophomore Luke LeVette took over the team in points last week as he now owns 36 thanks to his team-best 32 goals, while Kevin Coppinger is just one point behind with 35 on the strength of 20 goals and a team-leading 15 assists. In ground balls, Nik Kubik leads the way with 61, and he has also won 157 faceoffs for the Chargers. Colton Nall has caused a team-high 11 turnovers.

STOPPING SHOTS: Kyle Siersma earned his sixth win of the season last weekend against Shorter, not allowing a goal in 30 minutes of action. On the year, the Huntsville native has totaled 76 saves including three games in which he has surpassed double figures, and his season-high in stops is 16 against Saint Leo in the season opener.

ABOUT YOUNG HARRIS: The Mountain Lions have won 11 straight games, bringing an 11-3 (4-0 GLVC) record into Saturday's game, but the team is just 3-2 in road games. Bevan Pate leads the team with 47 points from 30 goals and 17 assists, while Bruce Silk has scored a team-high 32 times. Sean Dever features a 7.94 goals against average while recording 140 saves for Young Harris.
