BACK IN CONFERENCE PLAY: After playing a pair of non-conference games last week in the Sunshine State, the UAH men's lacrosse team will start a regular-season closing stretch of three Great Lakes Valley Conference games this weekend when the team ventures down Interstate 65 to Montevallo for a 7 p.m. tilt on Saturday night. The Chargers are 6-5 overall and 1-1 in conference play heading into the game.

LAST TIME OUT: Though the Chargers dropped both games against Rollins and Florida Southern, but the team dominated both games for stretches despite scores of 16-10 and 16-9.

AROUND THE GLVC: Young Harris sits in first at 3-0, while Indianapolis is in second at 3-1. Maryville is 2-2 on the season to sit in third, while UAH is in fourth at 1-1 with just two league games played so far. Montevallo (0-2) and Shorter (0-3) round out the conference standings.

WELCOME BACK: Back on the field for the first time since March 2,
Luke LeVette now has goals in each game he has played this season as he scored three times against Rollins and once against Florida Southern, and the sophomore now has a team-best 24 goals on the season.

APPROACHING A MILESTONE: Junior
Kevin Coppinger – who leads UAH this year with 30 points from 16 goals and 14 assists – needs just five points to reach 100 for his career as he enters play this weekend sitting on 95 points. He registered 29 points in his freshman year and 36 a year ago.

MAKING THEM COUNT: Freshman
Emory Weaver presently sits at 18th in the country in shot percentage, scoring on 48.7 percent of the 39 shots he has fired off on the year. The Memphis, Tennessee, native has 19 goals to sit second on UAH's goal-scoring ledger.

ABOUT MONTEVALLO: The Falcons are in the midst of their first-ever men's lacrosse season, and they own a 6-5 record including a 3-0 mark in home games. Kyle Nichols leads the team with 39 points on the strength of 26 goals and 13 assists to lead the Falcons, and Kyle Little has a goals against average of 9.71 and a .612 save percentage.
