BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference announced its 2018 GSC Fall Honor Roll and GSC Fall All-Academic Teams on Thursday afternoon, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville was represented by a total of 74 GSC Honor Roll recipients and five GSC All-Academic honorees.
 
This is the second year in a row UAH has boasted over 70 GSC Honor Roll recipients in the fall, which is the first time this decade the department has accomplished the feat in back-to-back years.
 
The Chargers men's cross country team boasted a pair of GSC All-Academic honorees, including Brydon Groves-Scott and Benji Knox. Groves-Scott is now a three-time GSC All-Academic awardee, which is the maximum number of times a student-athlete can garner the honor.
 
Groves-Scott is one of five GSC student-athletes to become a three-time awardee, while Knox picks up his second GSC All-Academic nod in his junior campaign.
 
UAH also generated a trio of first-time GSC All-Academic honorees, as Isabelle Barnes (volleyball), Auburn Cohan (women's cross country) and Ethan Wilson (men's soccer) picked up the accolade Tuesday as well.
 
GSC All-Academic honorees must have a 3.2 cumulative GPA and have made significant contributions to their respective teams during the 2018 campaign.
 
The full list of the 2018 GSC Fall Honor Roll recipients from UAH is below. All student-athletes who competed in the fall with a 3.0 cumulative GPA are eligible for the GSC Honor Roll.
