BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference announced its weekly women's lacrosse honorees, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville was represented by
Nicole Federovitch as GSC Player of the Week,
Natalie Pachinger as GSC Defensive Player of the Week and
Katie Gerber as GSC Freshman of the Week.

Federovitch has now earned GSC Offensive Player of the Week four times this season, while Pachinger collects her five GSC Defensive Player of the Week honor of 2019. Gerber has garnered GSC Freshman of the Week five times this season.

A native of Barnegat, New Jersey, Federovitch paced the Chargers offense over three games against Florida Tech, Palm Beach Atlantic and No. 24 Saint Leo with 14 points on five goals and a team-high nine assists. She now has 69 points this season with 42 goals and 27 assists, leading the GSC in each offensive statistical category.

Pachinger helped the Chargers defense limit the opposition to six or fewer goals in two of the three contests last week, while pacing the squad with 11 draw controls and six caused turnovers. The senior additionally had a defense-high three points on two goals and one assist.

Gerber had a dominant all-around performance over the past week, as she rated second on the squad with 13 points on a team-high nine goals and four assists in addition to leading the roster with 12 ground balls. The Louisville native also added four caused turnovers and six draw controls to rank in the top three on the squad in both statistical categories.
