MONTEVALLO, Ala. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's tennis team picked up a road win in conference play on Thursday, traveling to Montevallo where the Chargers claimed a 5-2 victory. UAH improves to 9-9 (4-5 Gulf South Conference), while the Falcons slip to 7-8 (4-3 GSC).

Noteworthy
-The Chargers have matched their conference win total from a season ago with two GSC contests remaining this season, including what may prove to be a pivotal match on April 20 against West Georgia who is presently sitting in ninth behind UAH in the GSC standings.

Presley Thomas continues her hot stretch, winning for the fifth consecutive time, and she has surrendered just 17 games in 10 sets on her way to improving to a team-high 12-6 on the year.
-Mehlich's three-set win at the top spot moves her to 10-5 overall on the year and 5-2 in conference play, and each of those contests have come at the No. 1.
-Kirchtag has also won four in a row in moving to 10-6 while matching Mehlich with the 5-2 mark against GSC opponents.
-Mehlich and Kirchtag in doubles now own 10 wins including five against GSC opponents.
-Stearman now has 12 wins in doubles including a 10-3 overall mark with Lopez, and that duo is 4-1 in conference matches.
