TULSA, Okla. | The Tulsa Oilers of the ECHL have signed The University of Alabama in Huntsville defenseman
John Teets to a contract following his four-year career with the Chargers.

A three-time WCHA Scholar Athlete, Teets played in 105 career games with the Chargers with a total of 20 points on four goals and 16 assists from the blue line.

Teets played in all 38 games this past season with six assists while accruing just eight penalties for 16 penalty minutes. Additionally, Teets rated third on the roster 55 blocks on the defensive end.

UAH ended the season with an 8-28-2 overall record and 8-18-2 within the WCHA, as the Chargers earned a trip to the WCHA playoffs in consecutive seasons.
