BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference unveiled its weekly women's lacrosse award winners on Tuesday, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville was represented by
Shaina Doser as GSC Defensive Player of the Week and
Karissa Glover as GSC Offensive Player of the Week.

Doser started in goal for the Chargers and earned the win in the squad's 17-7 victory over Lewis this past Friday, as the freshman limited the Flyers to five goals in 43:39 in goal while not allowing a goal in two Lewis man-advantages.

Glover paced the UAH offense in the home-opening victory on Friday with eight goals, which are tied for second in a single game in program history and the most by a GSC player this season.

The Chargers have two games ahead this weekend in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on Friday against Rockhurst and Saturday against Oklahoma Baptist.
