HUNTSVILLE | The 2020 CoSIDA Academic All-District At-Large Teams have been announced, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse teams is represented by sophomore
Joseph Stuber who is a member of the team from District 5.

District 5 for the purpose of the at-large teams is comprised of institutions from the South Region, and voting is conducted by the region's athletics communications professionals who are members of CoSIDA.

Stuber excels in the classroom, posting a 4.00 GPA while majoring in chemistry.

In this year's season that was shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic, Stuber had posted three goals and three assists to total six points, building off of a freshman campaign in which he scored 11 times while adding four assists to tally 15 points.

Stuber's selection marks the first for a men's lacrosse player at UAH.

First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if necessary) Academic All-America honorees will be announced later.

The Division II Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2019-20 Divisions II Academic All-America programs.
