HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville hockey team has postponed its upcoming series at the Von Braun Center on Friday and Saturday night against Northern Michigan. No makeup dates have been announced as of yet.
Additionally, the UAH Hockey team has paused activity for at least 10 days due to COVID-19 protocols and based on guidance from our institution and the UA system.
"The health and safety of our student athletes and staff members is the top priority and will continue to be as we work our way through this pandemic," Director of Athletics
Dr. Cade Smith said. "We believe this is the best way for us to be able to complete our season and continue to compete as a program. I am grateful for our medical providers and all that they are doing to keep us safe as well as helping us to be able to play and compete."
UAH (2-5-1, 2-2-0 WCHA) now looks ahead to a road series at nationally-ranked Minnesota State on Jan. 28-29.
