BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference announced its weekly women's lacrosse award winners, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville was represented by Isadora Springer as GSC Freshman of the Week.
 
This is Springer's first career GSC Freshman of the Week honor.
 
A native of Collierville, Tennessee, Springer led the UAH offense with five goals on Sunday against Rhodes, which are the third-most goals scored by a Charger so far this season.
 
Through two games in 2021, Springer has scored seven times to rank tied for second on the roster in goals scored.
 
The Chargers have a pair of games this week beginning on Saturday at Rockhurst before wrapping up the slate on Sunday at Missouri Western State. Both games begin at 1 p.m.
