BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference announced its weekly women's lacrosse award winners on Tuesday, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville was represented by
Cara Brown as GSC Offensive Player of the Week.

This is Brown's first career weekly honor from the GSC.

Brown led the Chargers with a team-high 13 goals scored over two road wins this past weekend at Rockhurst and Missouri Western, as she also paced the squad with 12 draw controls.

Her eight goals on Sunday at Missouri Western were a career-high for the junior.

This season, Brown boasts a roster-best 22 goals scored through four games while also ranking second on the squad with 17 draw controls.
