HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse head coach
Connor Doyle has announced the hiring of
Austin Zumbado as assistant coach.

Zumbado will assist the team as the offensive coordinator.

"I'm very thankful for Coach Doyle for bringing me on his staff here at UAH. Coach Doyle is building a special program here in Huntsville that I want to be a part of," Zumbado said.

"Being able to coach this group of young men is going to be special. Not only do I want to make a difference in making our guys better lacrosse players but also better young men off the field."

A native of Kennesaw, Georgia, Zumbado most recently served as a graduate assistant for North Greenville where he also played from 2018-21 after playing one season at Shorter in 2017.

Zumbado earned his Bachelor's degree in Sport Management from North Greenville as well as his MBA there while assisting the NGU men's lacrosse program.
