Katie Williams has been selected as the Gulf South Conference Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week.

Williams becomes UAH's first player to earn the weekly honor this season.

In last Saturday's game against Lander, Williams tallied a career-high six goals and dished out an assist for a career-high seven points.

On the season, the junior from Oviedo, Florida, has scored 23 times while adding five assists to rank third on the team with 28 points.Â

Williams and her teammates return to action on Thursday when the team hosts Shorter at Charger Park before welcoming Lee to Huntsville on Saturday for Senior Day which is set for a 2 p.m. start.
