BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference announced their women's lacrosse weekly awards on Tuesday and UAH's
Olivia Rewers was named the Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season and Freshman of the Week for the fifth time.
Rewers scored 11 points in two games last week, helping the Chargers open Gulf South Conference play with a 3-0 record.
The freshman tallied three goals and posted career highs with two assists and nine draw controls in a 23-6 win over Lee Flames. She followed by tying her career-high five goals, adding one assist, three ground balls, three caused turnovers and three draw controls in an 18-5 victory against Montevallo Falcons.
The No. 24 ranked Chargers are set to face off against Young Harris on Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Young Harris, Georgia.Â
