BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference announced its 2022 Spring GSC All-Academic Teams along with its Honor Roll recipients, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville combined for eight GSC All-Academic honorees and 118 GSC Honor Roll recipients.
 
Women's lacrosse had a pair of honorees return to the GSC All-Academic squad as Katie Gerber collects her third career honor and Cara Brown notches her second GSC All-Academic nod.
 
Men's track & field led the way with the most individual honorees by the Chargers this spring, as Zach Hancock, Garrison Hill and Wilson McClain were each named GSC All-Academic performers. Both Hancock and Hill have earned the distinction in back-to-back seasons.
 
Baseball's Garrett Bodine additionally was named a GSC All-Academic honoree for the second straight season, while Women's Track & Field registered two first-time awardees in Nikki Mata and Emily McMurry.
 
The GSC All-Academic Teams are comprised of student-athletes with at least a 3.20 GPA while also being a starter or significant contributor athletically.
 
The GSC Honor Roll recognizes all student-athletes who competed and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00.
