HUNTSVILLE | The Peach Belt Conference has announced its annual academic awards, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville was represented by numerous men's lacrosse student-athletes including five on the PBC Team of Academic Distinction presented by Barnes & Noble College and 25 on the PBC Presidential Honor Roll.

The PBC Team of Academic Distinction is modeled after the CoSIDA Academic All-America program, and to be eligible student-athletes must participate in half of his team's games while being a starter or significant contributor, achieve at least a 3.30 GPA, and complete at least one full academic year at his institution while also reaching sophomore athletic eligibility.

Jack Hendrickson (3.83/management),
Trevor Redmond (3.55/management),
Jake Schramm (3.33/marketing),
Joseph Stuber (3.95/chemistry), and
Conor Young (3.48/chemical engineering).

The Presidential Honor Roll honors all PBC student-athletes who had a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the academic year.
Â
The honor roll has been divided into four groups: Presidential Scholars, Bronze Scholars, Silver Scholars and Gold Scholars. All student-athletes with a GPA from 3.0 to 3.24 are Presidential Scholars while Bronze Scholars are 3.25 to 3.49; Silver 3.50 to 3.74 and Gold Scholars are those with a 3.75 to 4.00.
