HUNTSVILLE | The NCAA announced its teams under consideration for its regional tournaments on Wednesday afternoon and the University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team was amongst the 10 teams listed for the South Region.
 
The Chargers have won 9 of their last 13 matches and hold the number two spot in the Gulf South Conference standings headed into their final home match of the season on Friday.

UAH is joined by GSC counterpart West Florida in the regional ranks. Rounding out those under consideration in the South Region are Eckerd, Embry-Riddle, Florida Southern, Lynn, Nova Southeastern, Rollins, Spring Hill, and Tampa.
  
The Chargers wrap up their regular season schedule with a match against Montevallo tomorrow, followed by a road trip to Georgia next weekend to take on Valdosta State and West Georgia.
