HUNTSVILLE | The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced their All-Region teams on Wednesday and UAH volleyball senior Caroline Moyer earned All-South Region honors in both publications. 

The Centerville, Ohio, native earned D2CCA Second-Team honors along with AVCA All-South Region after posting a team-leading 379 kills this season for a 3.38 kills per set average. The senior had a .237 hitting percentage on the year and also added 128 digs along with 38 blocks on the defensive end. 

The All-Region plaudits follow her First Team All-Gulf South Conference honors after the regular season. 

Moyer and the rest of the Chargers will face off with defending national champion and No. 3 seed Lynn on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. central in Tampa, Florida at the NCAA Division II South Region Championships.
