HUNTSVILLE | The College Sports Communicators announced their 2023 Academic All-District® Volleyball teams on Tuesday and Autumn Mayes, Caroline Moyer, and Zoe Smith were honored with the distinction. 

The 2023 Academic All-District® Volleyball Teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. 

The senior Mayes has earned multiple postseason honors, including First Team All-GSC and AVCA All-America honorable mention. The Academic All-District team is the first postseason distinction for the sophomores Moyer and Smith. 

Each of the three honorees appeared in all 28 matches this season and were the top three in kills per set for the Chargers in 2023.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Jan. 9, 2024.
