HUNTSVILLE | The NCAA announced its teams under consideration for its regional tournaments on Wednesday afternoon and the University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team was amongst the 10 teams listed for the South Region.

The Chargers hold a 21-5 record overall and a 12-4 record in the Gulf South Conference thus far through the 2024 campaign and rank second in the conference behind West Florida.

UAH is joined by West Florida in the regional ranks. Rounding out those under consideration in the South Region are Barry, Embry-Riddle, Florida Southern, Florida Tech, Lynn, Nova Southeastern, Spring Hill, and Tampa.
  
The Chargers wrap up their regular season schedule with a four match stretch at home the next two weekends with matches against Union, Christian Brothers, Montevallo, and Auburn Montgomery.
